Don’t expect Katy Perry to buy a ticket to Russell Brand’s new film. Katy is upset over how his documentary, ‘Brand: A Second Coming,’ allegedly depicts her as a ‘childish,’ ‘brainless sex kitten,’ according to a new report!
Forget Taylor Swift, 25. Katy Perry, 30, may still have some bad blood with her ex-husband,Russell Brand, 40. The Get Him to the Greek star has a brand new documentary coming out and parts of the movie reportedly portray Katy like a “crude” and “uncaring” idiot!
Katy is horrified by Brand: A Second Coming, according to a report in the Oct. 12 issue of In Touch magazine. Russell’s documentary contains footage before Russell and Katy ended their marriage in 2012, and the scenes included in the movie reportedly depict Katy like a total brat!
“She comes across as a childish, selfish and brainless sex kitten for Russell’s pleasure,” the source close to Katy tells In Touch. “She even utters a crude line about her private parts.” Not only that, the “Roar” singer reportedly comes off as “uncaring and clueless” when she appears on screen! Wow. Russell dissing Katy in his movie is completely opposite from the love and support he showed her before she performed at the 2015 Super Bowl.
It turns out, Katy may not be the only one who allegedly hates this new movie. Russell is reportedly unhappy with it as well! He tried to prevent South By South West from showing it in March 2015, according to the Hollywood Reporter. He even cancelled his appearance at the film festival. Supposedly, Russell’s upset with director Ondi Timonner‘s cinematic decisions.
Still, Brand: A Second Coming could be Russell’s revenge for how he was portrayed during Katy’s concert film, Part of Me, which portrayed her side of the break-up. Russell using this allegedly insulting footage of Katy is “payback,” the source tells In Touch, suggesting he could have had the “cringe worthy” scenes removed. “Obviously,” the source told In Touch, “he still holds some resentment.”

It’s a shame Russell’s film reportedly doesn’t show affection to Katy the way one of her fans did during a Rio De Janeiro concert! Katy invited a fan up on stage during the Sept. 27 show, and the “Katycat” pawed her all over! The fan even kissed Katy’s neck! “I think she’s rolling,” Katy said, as she handled this awkward situation with a lovey-dovey fan like a boss.
