Ever since the release of “What Do You Mean,” we’ve been dying to hear more about Justin Bieber‘s, 21, upcoming album. Thankfully, it looks like that day has finally arrived! The sexy singer, 21, appears to have revealed the name of his album in a photo posted to Instagram on Oct. 2, and it has us totally wanting more!
Brace yourselves, Beliebers — Purpose is coming! Yes, that is indeed the suspected name of Justin’s new album. The Biebs appeared to be teasing the announcement when he took to Instagram on Oct. 2 to post a series of black-and-white photos all bearing the inscription, “Purpose #sixweeks.”
The six weeks of course, refers to the album’s release date, Friday, Nov. 13, which recently caused a bit of a kerfuffle among Beliebers and One Direction fans alike. When 1D announced that their album Made In The A.M. would be coming out the same day as his, Justin snapped a vid of himself that suggested that the boy-banders should be nervous to be going up against him! Before showing a hilarious expression, he says, “The face you make when you come out with an album the same day as Justin Bieber.” This then prompted Louis Tomlinson, 23, of 1D to fire back at the singer on Sept. 30, uploading his own Snapchat saying, “That face you pull when you’re playing the last night at the O2,” and closing with a similar face to the Biebs’.
As it turns out though, the Snapchat feud was doneall in good fun.“It doesn’t bother me,” Justin revealed during an interview on Sept. 29. “No. I’m excited. Honestly, Niall [Horan] is one of my good friends. I look forward to listening to their album, too.” And don’t worry, the One Direction fellas were totally on board with the joke. “Harry [Styles] and the rest of the guys, including Niall, get along with Justin,” an insider told HollywoodLife.comEXCLUSIVELY. “They saw his Snapchat video about his album release date and they think it’s funny. It’s kind of like an inside joke they have will continue to play off each other. The guys don’t take it as a diss.” See, all is well here!
